Movie Insult

I was watching the movie The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and it had a really nice insult in it.

Here goes:

"Why don't you just light your tampon, blow your box apart? Because it's the only bang you're ever gonna get, sweetheart!"

Gonna have to remember that one...

Holiday update

Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year to everybody out in blog land!

Spent Christmas Eve with my second family and friends. A wonderful way to spend the evening.
Christmas day was a simple family dinner at home.
Boxing Day was work, work, work, work. Ugh.

And now for the traditional list o' swag.
-Plenty of movies (Star Trek, Shrek 2, Spidey 2 (mmm... Tobey in tights!), Matrix 3, Harry Potter 3, Aladdin, and both Airplane movies)
-Clothing (some socks, and a gift card to Old Navy)
-A nice collection of sweets
-Scissor Sisters CD
-Cashola

Birthday swag consisted of a Best Buy gift card, LOTR 3, and a new keyboard/mouse set that I bought with Christmas/birthday money.

THREE WEEKS?

It's been three weeks since I blogged? Whoa.

So, what's up?
-Had our work Christmas party last Saturday. Got a smidge tipsy. Nothing too bad. Out of seven drinks, I only paid for three. :-) I was also the emcee for the evening. That was fun. Got an MP3 player out of the deal.
-We've had our first REAL taste of winter. -20-something temperatures, snow, wind. rah! People wonder why I would want to live in the Vancouver area because of all the rain they get. Easy. You don't shovel rain.

Oh, and I got myself a blog message board troll. Take a looksie.

Excercise this week: shovelling snow and lifting/moving/carrying hoardes of heavy boxes at work.
