Best advice column response EVER
DEAR AMY:
My boyfriend went out with the “guys” last night. We sent text messages until about 1 a.m. Actually, I was texting him. Then I tried to call him for more than an hour. He never responded.
When I was first calling him, it would ring, then go to voice mail, but after a while it went straight to voice mail.
He does have a history of cheating on girlfriends. I know that he is going to tell me that his phone battery died and that he had no way to contact me. Normally when his battery is dying, he will tell me.
With his history and the fact that I believe he turned his phone off, I’m wondering what I should do.
I understand that he wants time with his friends, but he was supposed to call me when he got home last night.
Should I be worried that he is cheating? We have talked before about his being out with his friends, texting me and then disappearing.
I love him very much, but is this normal? Am I being paranoid?
-- Hurt and Confused
DEAR HURT:
Just reading your letter makes me want to throw my cell phone into Lake Michigan and break up with you, and I don’t even know you.

Wowie! An update!
Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been... shall we say... busy? Yeah. 'Busy' works.
Christmas with Tommy was WONDERFUL! He and I made the most amazing turkey dinner that I've ever had. It was great. :)
Work has taken an interesting turn. They're closing my store at the end of January. But, I'm not worried. I've wanted out for some time, now. Plus, I'm highly employable. I'll be fine. I'm just going to take a couple of weeks off (maybe a little more?) to rest before I start the job search.
Now, for some boyfriend stuff. Tommy and I are moving in together at the end of the month! How's that for awesome? :D I can't wait to be sharing a place with him! Being able to kiss him every morning! I still can't believe it's happening! *grins like an idiot*
I'll cap off this post with a quizzie.

You scored as Judge. You are a Judge Empath, one who is a "truthsayer". You can tell truth from lies, good from evil. You do not tolerate wrong doing. You are a defender of the good and the innocent. You are kind and merciful but do not play foolish games. (from "The Book of Storms" by Jad Alexander at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Empaths/)
