A thing or two

Last week, a couple of friends from Edmonton showed up. One (Michaela) was here for only a few hours on a business trip. While here, she and I went for lunch, which was nice.

The other person was Mike, who was here for a couple of days to skip out on attend a seminar of some kind for work. While he was here, we hung out, drank beer, and watched some Battlestar Galactica. It reminded me of all the times that Brad and I hung out at Mike's place or at the bar, just chatting and maybe playing a little Xbox. I sure miss those times. Sometimes the discussion was deep, other times, not so much. However, it was always time well-spent.
